It turned cold... brrrr,,,

Eerie wastelands sit crouching at the edge of a great green desert filled with plumes of exaggerated muscles. They cling together like mossy trellises beneath a puffy gray ambiance. The look at each other and sigh about jam jammed in the cracks in their homes. Kangaroos lick them and try not to gobble them down, but temptation is all too close. Barricaded in their shells they polish the walls for spring. I thought is would never come. Never sitting on the fallen trellis they cry I tell you they cry and are lost at sea. But the kangaroos find them for super none should be surprised. High above a beetle crawls and whispers to the icicles. He wants to make a blue ball and call the tiny crystals sky. Oh, but the all the minerals are consumed before he can crawl down. Clinks and clatters distract the predators and the little ones take out their ticky tacs and scallop to the hills where they only find another commune of those that eat them. ah ha! they said, and finally our food crawls to us. They had a day to celebrate and the small shells were boiled cleaner than ever before. White, sunny, and defiantly not blue, so the beetle let them sit among the stones. He went on to greater things. Pushing loads of summerset to the top and around. He little legs impresses a mate of strange stature. One of the clan of the long ears and tails could not let the sound of his beetley feet out of her grasp. She hopped from horizon to horizon until she found that the little legs would never tire and her heart gave out with a kurplunk. The little shells that had survived the massacre polished her clean and white and shinny and in the concave of she ribs declared a safe home. So they threw off their shells and went fishing in the little red ponds. The beetle traipsed down from the sky and found the place so beautiful and almost blue in its brilliance that he must have a small apartment on the second deck. The shelled of their shells creatures would not allow one who was not a help to stay, so they made the beetle pile up refuse to keep out the remaining kangaroos. Then all became dark and it didnt matter if the scaffolding was shiny and white. So all the pigment came back into the world as soon as the light was lost.

"When they did another ultrasound a few weeks later, they had found..that I...had resorbed...the fetus. Do I regret this? No. I believe his tissues made me stronger. I now have the strength of a grown man, and a little baby."
